Harim Alon Youth meets once a month in California for a Chavura, which means "Fellowship" in Hebrew and comes from "Chaver" meaning Friend. A Non religious group of Sephardic Jewish teenagers that believe in preserving the Jewish heritage by working together throught exciting events.
The group is led by Thomas Immanuel Barton (Toivi Cook) who has a love for animals and encourages the youth to help homeless cats and dogs find good homes. They interact in Judezmo, the language that is rarely spoken in our days.
The youngsters have raised their funds through recycling and using some of their allowances.
