SUBJECT: UFOs and Nuclear Weapons
ABSTRACT:
In 1967 almost twenty nuclear missiles were disabled by UFOs near Great Falls, Montana. There are many witnesses to this incident who have come forward to corroborate this event. Many of the documents pertinent to this incident have also been declassified. This is an important incident which was kept secret from the public for almost 30 years. This presentation is intended to provide first-hand accounts and documentation to support the facts related to the interaction of UFOs with Minuteman missile sites in 1967. Because Salas is asserting the truthfulness of this story, he will provide validation for his statements. The implications of these events on national security, secrecy and the public's right to know are discussed along with other related incidents. The preponderance of the incidents related to nuclear facilities clearly point to a subject of interest for these unknown objects. This presentation will clearly show that up to 20 Minuteman missiles were disabled in 1967 for unknown reasons while the UFOs were observed by Air force personnel. Our speaker will show that this was not an Air Force exercise nor could it have been instigated by a foreign government or any other human source. Salas can reach no other conclusion except that we have and are being visited by intelligently controlled objects not of this world. Salas will also discuss the implications of these and related incidents on our nuclear facilities. He concludes that our nuclear weapons are of great concern to these extraterrestrial visitors and their demonstration was one way of showing this concern. About Nuclear, UFOs and Relationships, is there any connection between nuclear facilities and the subject of UFOs? Undoubtedly over a period of many years the answer is definitely yes. Nuclear facilities as such would encompass all things nuclear from nuclear fuel production areas to nuclear power plants to nuclear missile storage areas up to nuclear weapons launch sites. The Oak Ridge Tennessee gaseous diffusion plant for U235 production has been a location where many UFOs have been recorded over the years since the UFO sighting wave of 1947. Other nuclear production facilities over which UFOs have been recorded include Hanford (plutonium production), Savannah River AEC (atomic fusion material production), and Los Alamos (special nuclear weapons production R&D). Relative to nuclear power plants and UFO sightings the Indian Point power plant in NY state is one often mentioned as well as the Chernobyl Ukraine power plant. Nuclear weapons storage sites with UFO sightings reports include Los Alamos, Sandia Labs, and Kirtland AFB all in New Mexico. Nuclear launch sites with UFO incursions include Malmstrom AFB in Montana and Minot AFB in North Dakota. Francis Ridge formerly a researcher at NICAP has done extensive studies of UFOs and nuclear topics. The result is Ridge's Nuclear Connection Project. Ridge has a massive amount of data for study in the many files at his website. Another researcher is Richard Hall, author of UFO Evidence Vol 1 and Vol 2., who has noted a strong correlation of UFOs and nuclear weapons while compiling his Vol 2. Additional research has been conducted by Dr. Donald Johnson, Larry Hatch and Robert Hastings.
BIO:
Robert Salas is a graduate of the USAF Academy and served for seven years active duty in the USAF. He earned his Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Salas worked briefly as an engineer for Martin Marietta Aerospace and Rockwell International. He then went on to serve the Federal Aviation Administration until his retirement in 1985. He then earned a Masters Degree in Education and is currently teaching high school mathematics. His deep interest with UFOs began with the Malmstrom AFB incidents of 1967 while he was serving as a Missile Launch Officer in the Minuteman Missile Program. He has spoken publicly about the incidents since 1995. Salas is coauthor of the book titled Faded Giant.
