Challenge: Child Evangelism

The Mission's extensive Child Evangelism program, conducted with help from adult converts carefully trained in the use of the materials, is the steadfast response to Christ's command to "...let little children come unto me."

With the Holy Spirit guiding them, Charlie and Miriam reach boys and girls caught in a sad and bad atmosphere. These children, ages 5 to 11, live in prison with either their mother or father due to the crimes committed by their own parents. Children doing time for their parents' crime! The boys were transferred from their parent's cell into a more appropriate environment at a safe and suitable children's home.

Challenge: Music Youth Ministry

God has helped Charlie and Miriam motivate and teach young people new songs, and how to play musical instruments like guitar and keyboard. One of them, Claudio, is now serving as a full time music director at the First Nazarene Church in Puerto Madero (photo on right).

Our music group has ministered at other churches, revival services, retreats and even held outdoor concerts at local parks. God is really using this Christian music ministry to bring lost young people to Christ.

Over the years, the people of Pan American Missions have reared more than seventy orphaned and abandoned children in the mission residence; started fifteen congregations that have now flourished into churches; opened the first Christian book store and a Dental Clinic in Southern Mexico; have continued to assist the needy through distribution of food, clothing, and medicines. PAM has joyfully responded day-by-day to the many and various challenges involved in bringing souls to Christ
